Silver Seed Farms, LLC

Landscape Gardening Arts

We still offer the full range of landscape gardening services you have been used to for the past 20 years:
  • Consultation
  • Personalized Landscape Design
  • Installation
  • Maintenance
Silver Seed Farms can create beautiful stone landscape walls and patios,
water gardens, formal and cottage
native plantings and ornamental (non-native) plantings, as well as edible landscapes.

Beautify your home and help Missouri butterflies and birds by adding beds of flowers and perennials and by phasing-in lovely Missouri plants!  Natives have the benefit of low water consumption, low maintenance, and no fertilizer usage.  They also provide more opportunity to bring Missouri birds, butterflies and dragonflies into your yard, increasing the habitat and diversity of these important species.

Native plant beds and edible landscapes can replace water- and fertilizer-intensive grasses and mowing.  In addition, for a lush native turf-grass lawn, Buffalo Grass may be an option.  Buffalo grass is extremely slow-growing, requiring infrequent mowing.  It is also drought-resistant and hardy, making this beauty a wonderful replacement for the non-native turf grasses.
